Return & Refund Policy
Order Cancellations (Within 14 Days of Purchase)
If you decide to cancel your order within the first 14 days of purchase, you may do so for a cancellation fee equal to 5% of your total order value.
Order Cancellations (After 14 Days of Purchase)
If you cancel your order after 14 days, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Returns (After Delivery)
Returns are eligible only within the first 30 days after taking delivery of your plunge.
- All returns are subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee, based on the item being returned in "like new" condition.
- Any item deemed to not be in "like new" condition may be subject to additional fees, to and including full forfeiture of the purchase price.

Ultimate Plunge: Return freight shipping ranges from $500ā$1,000 within the continental 48 states.
- Costs will be higher for Hawaii, Alaska, and international customers. - All other packages: A minimum shipping charge of $75 will apply, with final costs determined by the return origin.
- If you are unsure whether you will keep your unit, we recommend keeping the original packaging, as replacements can be costly.

Exchange Policy
General Exchange Guidelines
All exchanges are subject to product-specific eligibility requirements outlined below and must be initiated within the stated timeframes after delivery. Exchange requests submitted outside of these windows may not be eligible. All applicable shipping, processing, and restocking fees apply as noted.
Showerheads
Customers who wish to exchange their showerhead after delivery may do so within 14 days of receiving the shipment. A $14 return shipping fee will apply. A $14 outbound shipping fee will apply for the replacement showerhead.
Processing & Restocking Fees:
Unopened showerhead: A 5% processing fee will apply.
Opened showerhead: A 10% processing and restocking fee will apply.
Showerheads returned outside of this window are not eligible for exchange.
Pro Curve Chillers
Customers who took delivery of a cold-only Pro Curve Chiller and wish to exchange it for a Cold + Hot Pro Curve Chiller may do so under the following conditions:
Unopened chiller:
A $75 return shipping fee will apply.
A 5% processing fee will apply.
The unit must be unopened and in original condition to qualify for exchange.
Opened chiller:
Opened Pro Curve Chillers are not eligible for exchange. Instead, these units may qualify for our Trade-Up Program.
Trade-Up Program: All v2 Pro Curve Chillers in proper working condition are eligible for a $1,000 credit when turned in toward an upgrade to a v2 Pro Curve Chiller Cold + Hot model. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
Cold Plunges
Plunges are not eligible for direct exchange. If you wish to return your current plunge and purchase a different model, please contact Customer Support at help@thecoldlife.com to discuss available options. All plunge returns, including those associated with the purchase of a different model, must be initiated within the first 30 days of ownership. All standard return eligibility requirements, restocking fees, and shipping costs apply.
All Other Parts, Accessories, and Merchandise
For information regarding exchange eligibility for all other parts, accessories, or merchandise, please contact Customer Support by emailing help@thecoldlife.com within 14 days of accepting delivery. All items must be unused and in their original packaging to be considered for exchange. Eligibility and applicable fees will be determined based on the specific product and condition.
Ultimate Plunge - Delivery Inspection
Upon delivery, a signature will be required to confirm receipt of your Ultimate Plunge. We strongly recommend inspecting the unit as thoroughly as possible before signing. If a full inspection is not feasible, please at least examine the outer packaging for any visible dents, gouges, punctures, or crushing.
If any damage is observed, it must be noted with the delivery driver at the time of delivery and reported to The Cold Life by emailing help@thecoldlife.com
within 24 hours of delivery so we can assist with initiating a carrier claim. Failure to document delivery-related damage with both the carrier and The Cold Life within a reasonable timeframe may limit our ability to process the issue as a shipping claim. In such cases, any resulting repair or replacement costs that would otherwise be covered under a shipping claim may become the responsibility of the customer.
Refund Processing
All eligible refunds will be processed once the returned product has been received and inspected and confirmed to meet refund eligibility requirements. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment unless alternative arrangements are approved in advance by The Cold Life Customer Support Team or an authorized representative.
If a payment has already been made and you wish to change the payment method, a refund can be issued to facilitate repayment. In these cases, a 2.5% processing fee will be retained to cover transaction and processing costs.
Product Characteristics & Warranty
Please note that each plunge is handcrafted in the United States, and as a result, every unit has its own unique characteristics. Due to the handcrafted nature of the product, customers may notice minor cosmetic variations, including small blemishes, surface marks, or slight imperfections that are considered standard and do not affect performance or durability.
Additionally, colors, finishes, and textures may vary slightly from unit to unit and may not be an exact match to images shown online or in marketing materials. While every effort is made to ensure consistency and accuracy, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.
Cosmetic variations that do not constitute structural damage or impact functionality are considered normal characteristics of a handcrafted product and are not eligible for compensation, repair, or replacement.
