Why A Vertical Cold Plunge?
Better Temperature Acclimation
It is easier to control the depth of immersion when entering a vertical cold plunge. This allows you to gradually acclimate to the cold by submerging your body slowly, starting with your feet and working up.
Diaphragmatic Breathing

I've been into cold therapy for a while now and like most people, wanted to do it as cost effective as I possibly could. There weren't many options available at the time so felt like the company Ice Barrel would be the best option and damn was I wrong. Doing just ice gets crazy expensive + having to refill it with ice every time just made it impossible to get into a good ice bath routine.
Fast forward a couple of years and researching all the different plunge companies popping up, we ended up trying and testing all the best ones out there (plunge, renu, the cold life, & bluecube) and the best one without a doubt was the cold life. Here's why...
1) The price was cheaper than all the leading competitors but the quality is top notch and their customer support has been absolutely phenomenal. Had one issue with the chiller and their head of support hopped on a video call with me in less than an hour and walked me through the issue (which was 100% my fault)
2) We are in Texas so the summers are brutally hot and almost every chiller we tested couldn't keep the temp cold enough but the pro curve chiller absolutely crushes it even mid afternoon 100+ degrees
3) My wife and I prefer the standing/barrel vs a tub. We already have a tub in our bathroom for baths and find the standing/squatting position to be much more therapeutic for cold therapy
4) I have a business where we're looking at getting a few more plunges with them branded for the biz where we'll actually make money…

This plunge is the freaking best. The size is perfect, and the vertical shape is great. I get compliments on how cool it looks every time someone sees my back porch. The technology is next level and the build quality is better than any other plunge I’ve seen.
