My chiller needs repair. What happens?

Start by emailing help@thecoldlife.com with two things: a 30 to 60 second video, and the 13-digit serial number from the white tag on the back of the unit near the power cord.

In the video, show the overall setup from the front, the water flow inside the filter compartment, the inside of the plunge, and the back of the setup so we can see hoses and connections. If you can capture the moment it shuts off, even better.

Many issues are fixable at home. Common causes: something new added to the chiller's circuit (it needs a dedicated 110V/15A line), a filter that needs cleaning, less than 12 inches of clearance on the exhaust side, or mineral buildup.

If it needs to come in, we route your case to the repair team at Penguin Chillers, our manufacturer. They contact you directly to help diagnose and repair.

We do not send loaner or replacement chillers while yours is being repaired. Coverage is determined after diagnosis, not before.
