How do I install the Ultimate Sink Filter?

Installing takes about five minutes and everything you need is in the box.

What's in the box
Ultimate Sink Filter, one filter cartridge, a full adapter kit with male and female threaded adapters plus silicone sealing rings, an aerator wrench and an adapter wrench.

Step 1: Check it will fit
Your spout needs to be between 0.6 and 0.95 inches across. You also need at least 1.4 inches of clearance below the tap and 3.1 inches above the sink basin.

Step 2: Remove the aerator
Unscrew the aerator from the end of your faucet. Use the aerator wrench if it is tight. If it is fully unscrewed but will not drop out, turn the water on for a second and the pressure will push it free.

Step 3: Fit the adapter
Choose the adapter that matches your faucet threads, male or female, add the silicone sealing ring, and thread it on. Use the adapter wrench to snug it up.

Step 4: Attach the filter
Push the quick-connect collar onto the adapter until it clicks.

Step 5: Run the water
Let it run for a few minutes to flush the new cartridge, and check around the adapter for drips.

Your filter lasts 60 days for one person, or 30 days for two or more. The display counts down from 100%, tells you to reorder at 20%, and reads "chg" when it is time to swap. If you are on a subscription the next cartridge arrives before the old one runs out.
